Blackpink’s Jennie will release her debut solo album, ‘Ruby’, on March 7.

The South Korean singer posted a trailer for the album, which sees Jennie in the clip standing alone in a dark room with long red hair, wearing leg warmers and tights while viewers hear an owl’s hoot before the music starts – as a larger version of the K-pop star appears and looks down at her smaller self.

The preview clip for ‘Ruby’ revealed that the album will include collaborations with Childish Gambino, Doechi, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis, with an official synopsis stating: “The carefully curated 15-song offering explores a variety of genres and showcases Jennie truly stepping into her own.”

In October, Jennie released the music video for her first single, “Mantra;” she shared with Billboard: “While I was on my last Blackpink tour, I couldn’t stop myself from starting to plan ahead. I listed out the things that I want in my life and started pinpointing, or prioritizing, what’s my very next step. And instantly, I was like, ‘I still haven’t accomplished the dream of releasing a solo album.’”

Lady Gaga has dropped the music video for her new song “Abracadabra”,which will appear on Gaga’s next album, Mayhem, which is set for release on March 7.

Gaga had previously-announced her seventh studio album, sharing in a press release that the 14-track album – formerly alluded to as LG7 — “started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” likening the process to “reassembling a shattered mirror: Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”

Mayhem will feature the previously release singles “Disease” and “Die with a Smile,” coming on the heels of her 2024 album, Harlequin, based on her ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ character, Harley Quinn. Lady Gaga executive-produced the album alongside fiancé Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt, with individual producers including Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.

Stray Kids have made music history by earning their sixth #1 album on the Billboard 200 with their new album, HOP — marking the first act ever to debut at #1 with their first six charting albums.

Stray Kids will also embark on their World Tour, marking their first full run of stadium dates with 48 shows across 32 cities. The tour includes performances across the globe including: Singapore’s National Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Kaohsiung National Stadium, Bangkok’s National Stadium, Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, New York’s Citi Field, Toronto’s Rogers Stadium, London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Paris’ Stade de France.

Paul McCartney and Kim Kardashian were just added to the star-studded lineup for the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special, celebrating 50 years of the late-night sketch comedy series.

Per a press release, SNL50: The Anniversary Special will also star Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson.

The three-hour show will air live from Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT, following the Feb. 14 SNL50: Homecoming Concert, which will feature performances from the Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile, Chris Martin, David Byrne, Jack White, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Robyn and more. SNL alumnus Jimmy Fallon will be on hosting duties, while Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson are the show’s executive producers. The concert will take place at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

The lineup will also include Arcade Fire, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, The B-52s, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn and The Roots.

Both anniversary specials will air on NBC and stream on Peacock.

Julia Michaels has shared the new single “Scissors” featuring Maren Morris, along with the official music video for the track.

The tongue-in-cheek visual for ‘Scissors’ sees Michaels playing the part of a wife who finds out her husband is cheating on her; and with the help of her neighbor Morris, the duo seek to exact their revenge.
