Beyoncé adds more stadium dates to ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour

Beyoncé has added a fifth stadium show in Los Angeles and New Jersey as part of her Cowboy Carter Tour. The newly added dates gives the superstar performer the new record for the most shows of any artist on a single run at MetLife Stadium, and most overall performances at SoFi Stadium by any band or artist.

Last week Beyoncé had also added five more stadium shows to her tour lineup, including a fifth/sixth night in London, and a third night in Chicago, Paris, and Atlanta.

Beyoncé first announced her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour in support of her eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter” the night before the Grammy Awards, where she took home best country album and album of the year.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour will kick off April 28 in Los Angeles, wrapping up on July 13 in Atlanta.

Fans can purchase general-sale tickets starting Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. local time at beyonce.com.

Brad Pitt to star, produce new film from director David Ayer ‘Heart of the Beast’

Brad Pitt will portray a former Green Beret who becomes stranded with his retired combat dog in Alaska in the action-adventure movie Heart of the Beast.

Deadline reports that Pitt, 61, will also produce the film, which reunites him with director David Ayer. The pair previously collaborated on the 2014 film Fury, set during World War II.

This latest project will have Pitt playing an armed forces personnel, as he will be seen as a former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog who struggle to survive the harsh Alaskan wilderness after suffering a plane crash. A release date for Heart of the Beast has not yet been shared.

Pitt most recently starred with George Clooney in Wolfs, released in theaters and on Apple TV+ in September. Pitt will next appear in F1, portraying an ex-Formula 1 driver, set for release this June.

‘The White Lotus’ renewed for Season 4 at HBO

HBO has ordered Season 4 of its hit series, ‘The White Lotus,’ with production eyed to begin in 2026. No casting or locale have been announced yet for the fourth chapter of writer-producer Mike White’s Emmy-winning show.

Season 3 of The White Lotus is set in Thailand and features Natasha Rothwell (who played the spa manager Belinda Lindsey in Season 1) as the only returning cast member.  Season 3 will premiere on Feb. 16, and joining Rothwell in Thailand will be a cast including: Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

Season 1 was set in Hawaii, and Season 2 took place in Sicily – with both seasons following groups of troubled vacationers who unleash their worst, most privileged impulses at the idyllic ‘White Lotus’ resort, as their exploits intersect with hotel staff members. Both seasons also featured a mysterious death.

“The White Lotus” won 15 Emmys across its first two seasons, including for outstanding limited series for its first season.  The series is executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.

Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, Hozier set to headline NYC’s Governors Ball 2025 Festival

NYC’s Governors Ball is celebrating its 15th anniversary by announcing its 2025 lineup. The annual festival, which returns to the iconic Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on June 6-June 8, will see Tyler, the Creator, Benson Boone, Olivia Rodrigo, Feid, Hozier and Glass Animals headlining the three-day event. Also joining the lineup are Conan Gray, Mt. Joy, Mk.gee, Clairo, The Backseat Lovers, Young Miko, Car Seat Headrest, T-Pain, Tyla, RAYE, Royel Otis, Nourished by Time, Tyla, Mannequin Pussy, BigXthaPlug, Wallows, the Lemon Twigs and Yaya Bey.

In addition to its performers, Gov Ball is promising some of New York City’s best local, gourmet food offerings, including fan favorites from around Queens and a beverage program to beat the summer heat.

NBC is previewing Suits: L.A., a spinoff of the 2011 legal drama Suits that ran for nine seasons.

The network has released the first trailer for “Suits: LA” introducing “the mighty” Ted Black (Stephen Amell), an East Coast lawyer who relocates to California, and shows the firm’s competitive “co-heads of entertainment,” Rick Dodson (Bryan Greenberg) and Erica Rollins (Lex Scott Davis). The preview also teases the return of Gabriel Macht, who portrayed Harvey Specter in the original series.  As of press time, Macht (as Specter) will appear in three episodes of the spinoff series.

The official description of the pilot reads: “His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the 14 performer nominees to be considered for 2025 Induction. Artists or bands become eligible for nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording. Nominee ballots will be distributed to an international voting panel composed of more than 1,200 artists, historians, and music industry professionals.

The list includes: Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, Maná, Oasis, Outkast, Phish, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. Among this year’s nominees, eight are appearing on the ballot for the first time (Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Maná, Outkast, and Phish).

John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said in a statement: “These remarkable Nominees have each created their own musical style and attitude, impacting generations of music lovers and contributing to the ever-evolving sounds and continued growth of rock & roll.”

The inductees will be revealed in late April, along with those inductees entering the Hall under three special committee categories: musical influence, musical excellence, and the Ahmet Ertegun non-performer award. The public can also cast their ballot in the ‘Fan Vote’ at the link: HERE.

This year’s Induction Ceremony will take place in Los Angeles in the fall, with exact dates and ticket sales to be announced at a later date.

Bruno Mars recruits Sexyy Red for “Fat Juicy & Wet” video featuring Lady Gaga and Rosé

Bruno Mars has teamed up with Sexyy Red for their new single “Fat Juicy & Wet”, which dropped alongside an official music video directed by Daniel Ramos and Bruno Mars — featuring cameos from Bruno’s recent collaborators, Lady Gaga and Rosé of K-pop group Blackpink.

The video shows Sexyy Red, 26, and Mars, 39, wearing red outfits as they sing and dance on black and red sets, including one with a couch covered with a red satin sheet. Lady Gaga and Rosé join the pair near the song’s end, with all four artists wearing dark suits and sunglasses.

Mars recently collaborated with Rosé, 27, on the song “Apt.” which appears on her first solo album, Rosie; and also collaborated with Lady Gaga on the hit single ‘Die with a Smile,’

Robert DeNiro stars in the trailer for the Netflix limited series ‘Zero Day’

Netflix is teasing the six-episode limited series Zero Day, starring Robert De Niro as a former U.S. president tasked with investigating a deadly cyber attack that left 3,402 people dead.

The logline for ‘Zero Day’ reads, “As disinformation runs rampant and the personal ambition of power brokers in technology, Wall Street and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering search for the truth forces him to confront his own dark secrets while risking all he holds dear.”

The ensemble cast includes Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton, Matthew Modine and Angela Bassett. Clark Gregg and Gaby Hoffmann guest star.  The series marks two-time Oscar winner De Niro’s first series regular role.

‘Running Point’ starring Kate Hudson to debut February 27th on Netflix

Netflix announced the premiere date for the comedy series Running Point, starring Kate Hudson and premiering Feb. 27.

Hudson, who stars in the 10-episode series from creators Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen, portrays a woman who becomes president of the fictional basketball team the Los Angeles Waves after a family scandal. Drew Tarver and Scott MacArthur portray Hudson’s brothers, with the cast also including Max Greenfield, Toby Sandeman, Uche Agada, Fabrizio Guido, Brenda Song, Chet Hanks, Jay Ellis, Keyla Monterroso Meija, Roberto Sanchez and Dane Diliegro.

A official logline reads: “When a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job.”
