Adele adds 32 dates to Las Vegas Residency

shutterstock_2122117229572633

Adele has added 32 dates to her Las Vegas residency, with the new shows extending ‘Weekends With Adele’ at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace through next June. The announcement marks the second time that Adele has added dates to the original three-month residency; back in March, she added 34 dates through Nov. 4.

Adele posted on social media: “This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have! Being on stage over the last year so up close and personal with an audience again after all these years has been a truly extraordinary restorative experience that I’ll never forget. All the hilarious, soulful, wild and heartbreaking interactions we’ve had are banked in my mind for life. The looks on your faces, seeing you laugh and cry together singing your hearts out and hoarding bags of confetti. All the simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, facetime calls and flags. It’s crazy how joyful a show full of sad songs can be!! I’ve felt so much and learned so much about myself and you. It’s humanized everything I thought was scary. Mostly though – it’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong! So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever! Love you and I’ll see you on the other side soon x”

The final leg of the residency begins Friday, January 19, 2024, and runs through Saturday, June 15, 2024. Registration is open via Ticketmaster Verified Fan. Fans will be randomly selected to receive a code that grants them access beginning Thursday, October 26th.

Yungblud teams up with Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes for new song

shutterstock_1447172009711946

Yungblud has teamed up with Oli Sykes of the rock band Bring Me The Horizon on the new single “Happier,” their second collaboration together following Bring Me The Horizon’s single “OBEY” in 2020. Yungblud will also be joining BMTH on their Asia tour later this month, ahead of Yungblud’s own headlining tour.

Speaking about the track ‘Happier,’ Yungblud said: “I have almost been conditioned by myself my whole life to be in pain. When I’m in pain I work better. I function better because I have something to combat. It’s dark but it’s all I’ve ever known. The feeling of happiness is scary because you feel like it’s all about to go wrong. I have always felt that if I’m happy I’ll get complacent so it’s lost me a lot of opportunity for friendships and relationships in the past. I got really emotional when writing this. I was craving another Yungblud song that would burn in my stomach, make me feel like it’s all gonna be ok and encourage me to fight back against old habits and try my best to re-align myself to be better. It’s ok to find happiness, it’s ok to feel it. I hope you find a little bit of it in this song. You deserve it. Everyone does.”
