Britney Spears’ memoir, ‘Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me’ will be released Oct. 24 by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. The 41-year-old singer shared the cover and release date for the book on social media, saying the book will tell ‘her story on her own terms’ along with the simple caption: 10.24.23

Gallery Books describes Spear’s memoir as “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.” On the book’s website, Gallery writes, “In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.”

Gallery Books SVP and publisher Jennifer Bergstrom said in a statement to People: “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery. I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help share her story at last.”

Lady Gaga confirmed reports of a film based on her ‘Chromatica Ball’  tour, after rumors circulated that her show at Dodger Stadium was filmed for an upcoming film.

Gaga wrote in an Instagram post:  “I wanted to share a more personal moment with you today, I know I haven’t been doing a lot of that lately and some of you are really longing for me to share more of my artistic process. I’ve been experiencing my creativity ever since last summer in a really special and private way—I wrote and produced music for a special project, I prepared for months developing my character for Joker, I filmed Joker for many months (a very introspective time), I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on The Chromatica Ball film edit … I can say for the first time in many years that my love of making art, music, fashion, and supporting community has never been more fulfilling. I may not be sharing as much of myself online as I have in the past, but I hope you know this time to myself has been extremely healing and recharging for my heart, mind, body, and creativity—to create within myself and to have a personal life that’s just for me. I’m sure that may feel different because I haven’t always been so private (I bet that will make some of you laugh)—but I LOVE my fans, my little monsters, so much and that will never change … I can’t even begin to describe how much our global community inspires me every day to bring as much joy as I can to your lives. Here’s a photo of my working on The Chromatica Ball film edit (that’s a frame from the film behind me)—I can’t WAIT for you to experience it. Thank you for being willing to grow with me so that I can change and transform with the community I love so much. I hope you love all the things I’ve been creating for you and I hope this is a small reminder to you of my deep passion and commitment to art.”

The Chromatica Ball was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Chromatica Ball visited North America, Europe and Asia in support of Gaga’s sixth album, Chromatica, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020. The tour grossed $112.4 million and sold 834,000 tickets from 20 concerts, marking Gaga’s first tour since her Joanne World Tour in 2017.

Madonna has shared an update on her ‘Celebration Tour,’ after she experienced a serious medical scare. On Monday, the pop icon revealed on social media a timeline for her rescheduled tour dates, after they were postponed due to a recent hospital stay.

Weeks after she was admitted to a New York City ICU on June 24 to be treated for a severe bacterial infection, the 64-year-old wrote Monday on Instagram: “Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life. My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.” Madonna said she was focusing on her “health and getting stronger,” adding: “I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can. The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe. I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support.”

Madonna’s Celebration tour was set to kick off the first of its planned 84 shows on July 15 in Vancouver, with RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen serving as support. Previously scheduled European dates beginning Oct. 14 in London through Dec. 6 will go forward, while all dates in North America set for July-October will be rescheduled.
