The Weeknd announces ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ North American Stadium Tour Dates with Doja Cat

The Weeknd has announced his ‘After Hours Til Dawn ’ North American Stadium Tour. Doja Cat will join The Weeknd on the first leg, which kicks-off in The Weeknd’s hometown at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on July 8th.

The tour will make stops in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, Seattle, and more before wrapping with a show at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium on September 2. Additional international dates are to be announced.

Ticket sales for the North American leg of the After Hours Til Dawn tour will begin on Thursday, March 10 via The Weeknd’s official website. Fans who purchased tickets to the After Hours arena tour, originally scheduled for 2021 then rescheduled to 2022 before being canceled entirely for a shift towards stadiums, will receive first access to tickets for the newly announced dates.

Jennifer Hudson to launch new daytime talk show this fall on Fox TV stations

Jennifer Hudson will launch a new self-titled daytime talk show,‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ for Fox Television Stations this fall. The one-hour daytime talk show is produced in Los Angeles by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Telepictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. The Jennifer Hudson Show will tape in Los Angeles, with a creative team to be named soon.

David Decker, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, said in a statement: “Daytime has found its Dreamgirl. We are excited to bring Jennifer Hudson to Fox, Hearst and all our broadcast station partners this fall. Warner Bros. stands as the cornerstone between A-List talent and top tier stations building successful brands that drive audiences.”

Said Hudson in a statement: “I have experienced so much in my life; I’ve seen the highest of the highs, the lowest of the lows, and just about everything in between but as my mother always told me, ‘Once you think you’ve seen it all, just keep on living. See the trailer for the upcoming Netflix film “The Adam Project”

Ryan Reynolds teams up with his 13-year-old self in the new action-packed trailer for ‘The Adam Project.’  The sci-fi film follows a time-traveling pilot named Adam Reed, who crash lands in his past while trying to save the future.  Adam — wounded and confused — then encounters his 13-year-old self , with whom he must team up to find his late father and save the world from inherent doom.

Directed by Shawn Levy, The Adam Project also stars Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner as Adam’s parents, Louis and Ellie Reed. Rounding out the cast are Zoe Saldana as his partner Laura, newcomer Walker Scobell as Adam’s younger self, Catherine Keener, and Alex Mallari Jr.  The forthcoming project will mark the second collaboration between Reynolds and Levy, whr previously worked on the 2021 comedy Free Guy.

Zendaya & Labrinth release the song ‘I’m Tired’ from the Euphoria soundtrack

Following the ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 finale on HBO, composer Labrinth and star Zendaya have released the full version of “I’m Tired.”  The gospel-inspired track was first heard in Episode 4, when Labrinth performs the song live.  In the Season 2 finale, viewers got to hear the last minute of the song, which features Zendaya singing solo.

Co-written by Labrinth, Zendaya and show creator Sam Levinson, “I’m Tired” is now available on all major streaming services, and will appear on the full soundtrack for the show.  Watch the lyric video for “I’m Tired’ – here.

DNCE team up with Kygo in the video for ‘Dancing Feet’

DNCE are back and have teamed up with Kygo in the video for “Dancing Feet.”

The new video features the members of DNCE – Joe Jonas, JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless – along with Kygo, and models Cindy Kimberly and Camille Kostek. The video was filmed in Miami earlier this month, and quite a few fans were lucky enough to have the chance to be in the video during the nightclub scene, where Joe and Kygo have a ‘dance-off.”

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 sets premiere date on Peacock for March 28

The fourth season of the hit western drama Yellowstone will premiere on NBC Universal’s Peacock on March 28.

Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner stars as John Dutton, head of the Dutton family, defending its ranch against land developers, and conflict with an Indigenous tribe’s reservation, and others seeking to control it. Seasons 1-3 are already available to stream on Peacock.

Taylor Sheridan and John Linson created the series, which also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, and Kelsey Asbille.  The series set a new ratings record of 9.3 million total viewers live on the same day of its Season 4 finale in January on Paramount Network.  The series has been renewed for a fifth season.

Lindsay Lohan to star in two new films for Netflix

Lindsay Lohan is teaming up with streaming service Netflix to star in two new films. The two films will come after the release of Lohan’s new romantic comedy for Netflix, Falling for Christmas.  Falling for Christmas will follow Lohan as a spoiled hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident and started to suffer from amnesia. Lohan’s character will find herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner and his daughter leading up to Christmas.

Netflix said on Twitter about the deal:  “The world first fell in love with Lindsay Lohan when she played a set of twins — and Netflix is once again giving the world twice the Lindsay to love through a creative partnership that will see her star in two new films!” 

Christina Rogers, director independent film at Netflix said in a statement:  “We’re so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with her. We look forward to brining more of her films to our members around the world.”

Jonas Brothers land five date Las Vegas residency this summer

The Jonas Brothers are getting ready for a five-night summer residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, to be held on June 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11.  The Vegas residency will be the first time that the pop/rock band — consisting of brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas — will be performing since they wrapped up their 40-plus date Remember This tour last year.

Nick Jonas tweeted: “Best way to kick off summer 2022?? With my brothers in Vegas”  And the Jonas Brothers Instagram page posted: “See you in Vegas this June 🎰 Tickets on sale Monday at 10am at Ticketmaster.com/JonasVegas!”

Ticket sales for Jonas Brothers: Live in Las Vegas begin on Monday, March 7 via the official Jonas Brothers website. The residency marks their first stretch of shows since wrapping the 40-plus date Remember This tour last year.

Blackpink’s Rosé tests positive for Covid-19, cancels overseas tour

Blackpink’s Rosé has tested positive for COVID-19; and due to the diagnosis, all her upcoming overseas activities have been cancelled until further notice.

Following her diagnosis, on February 28, YG Entertainment released the statement and added the group’s other three members–Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa–have all tested negative.  The statement read: “Blackpink`s Rosé took a PCR test before her (overseas) departure on February 28, and the results came back positive, leading to a cancellation of a part of her overseas activities. The other three members (Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa) tested negative, and no one, including Rose who was diagnosed with Covid-19, is exhibiting any particular symptoms.”

Further, the statement revealed that all four members are completely vaccinated: “All four members of Blackpink have completed their Covid-19 vaccination, and we will prioritize the health of our artists and staff members and spare no effort (for their well-being). We would appreciate it if you could show support for Rosé’s rapid recovery as well as the Blackpink’s members who are active globally. We will provide an update if there are any changes in the future.”

The trailer for ‘Fantastic Beasts 3: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ is released

The new ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’ trailer has been released. The “Harry Potter” spinoff sequel stars Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, and Mads Mikkelsen, who takes over the villainous role of Grindelwald from Johnny Depp.  The supporting cast is rounded out by Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Katherine Waterson, Jessica Williams, and Callum Turner.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ begins as Dumbledore gets news about Grindelwald’s impending war. “The world as we know it is coming undone,” Dumbledore says to Newt. “If we’re to defeat him, you’ll have to trust me.

The third film in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ trilogy was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming officially began in September 2020 after a months-long delay, wrapping up in February 2021. In the previous two movies, Johnny Depp played the role of Gellert Grindewald. In November 2020, Johnny announced that he would not be returning to the role, saying that he had been “asked to resign by Warner Bros. from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts, and I have respected and agreed to that request.” Shortly after, Mads Mikkelsen was announced as the new Grindelwald.
