Harding’s mother, Marie, wrote on Harding’s Instagram page Sunday: “It’s with deep heartbreak that today I’m sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away. Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day. She slipped away peacefully this morning. I’d like to thank everyone for their kind support over the past year. It meant the world to Sarah and it gave her great strength and comfort to know she was loved. She also won the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother 20 in 2017 and appeared on Coronation Street. Podcast host Joe Rogan reveals he has COVID-19 and taking Ivermectin to treat symptoms

shutterstock_111540956

Podcast host Joe Rogan has contracted COVID-19. The 54-year-old host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” shared the news that he’d become ill over the weekend and tested positive for the virus, requiring him to postpone a comedy show in Nashville set for Friday.

Rogan said in a video on Instagram: “So, I got back from the road Saturday night feeling very weary, and I had a headache. I just felt run down. Just to be cautious, I separated from my family, slept in a different part of the house.” Rogan then began experiencing fevers and other severe symptoms, prompting him to get tested. After he received the positive diagnosis, his doctors “immediately threw the kitchen sink at it” with several different medications, including the controversial Ivermectin. (Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug used for livestock like horses and cows, which the Food and Drug Administration has strongly advised Americans against using to treat COVID-19.) Rogan told his followers in his video Wednesday that he had also used monoclonal antibody infusion therapy, vitamin drips, and azithromycin as treatment.

Rogan has been outspoken about the Covid-19 vaccination, and on his podcast he has criticized COVID-19 vaccination cards and vaccination mandates that have been put in place across the country. According to Rogan, institutions are implementing these requirements “because they’re dumb.mThey don’t understand history, they don’t understand human beings, they don’t understand human nature,” he said. “They don’t understand the history of every single country that’s ever existed other than the United States.”

Charli XCX shares the music video for her new song “Good Ones”

shutterstock_1649752714

Charli XCX has released the music video for her new single, “Good Ones.”

The British-born singer said in a press release: “Today, I, the inimitable Charli XCX, am releasing a brand new single ‘Good Ones’, accompanied by a twisted, dramatic and quite frankly electrifying music video. The first single of my new chapter embraces all that my life has to offer in today’s world – fame, glamour, inner demons, and global hits. ‘Good Ones’ was produced by Oscar Holter of Max Martin’s Wolf Cousins entity, and laments my inability to keep hold of healthy relationships, instead being endlessly drawn back to the dysfunctional and toxic. Filmed in Mexico and co-directed by my new favorite director: Hannah Lux Davis, the ‘Good Ones’ video sees me dramatically mourning the untimely loss of my partner as I battle with the realization that once again I’ve abandoned the goodness in my life, in favor of the sinister, with a visual aesthetic that marks a new era of me: Charli XCX.”

Elton John announces new collaborative album “The Lockdown Sessions” featuring Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth and more

shutterstock_1764489533

Elton John announced on social media that he’s releasing his new, star-studded album, ‘The Lockdown Sessions,’ on October 22.

The album is a collection of collaborations recorded remotely during the 2020 lockdown, and will feature 16 songs with artists including Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile, Stevie Wonder and many more.

Sir Elton said in a press release: “The last thing I expected to do during lockdown was make an album. But, as the pandemic went on, one‐off projects kept cropping up. Some of the recording sessions had to be done remotely, via Zoom, which I’d obviously never done before. Some of the sessions were recorded under very stringent safety regulations: working with another artist, but separated by glass screens. But all the tracks I worked on were really interesting and diverse, stuff that was completely different to anything I’m known for, stuff that took me out of my comfort zone into completely new territory. And I realized there was something weirdly familiar about working like this. At the start of my career, in the late ‘60s, I worked as a session musician. Working with different artists during lockdown reminded me of that. I’d come full circle: I was a session musician again. And it was still a blast.”
